# Notebook vs Paper Maker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Paper Maker at none against Notebook's 8. Paper Maker also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Notebook's advantage is ratings volume (24K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebook sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Paper Maker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Paper Maker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebook has 24K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
