# Rechat vs Riley Visuals

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rechat at every 4 days against Riley Visuals's every 2 months. Rechat also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 1). Riley Visuals's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Riley Visuals holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rechat has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rechat ships an update every 4 days, Riley Visuals every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
