# Deflection Lite vs Follow

Deflection Lite and Follow both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Follow's written reviews are positive against 44% of Deflection Lite's. Follow also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Deflection Lite's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Follow sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Deflection Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Deflection Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 46 and 35 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Deflection Lite's written reviews are positive against 87% of Follow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Deflection Lite ships an update every 3 months, Follow every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
