# Radius Connect vs Side App

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Radius Connect at 1.2K against Side App's 34. Radius Connect also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Side App's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 57%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Side App holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Radius Connect has 1.2K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Radius Connect's written reviews are positive against 75% of Side App's.

Radius Connect ships an update every 3 weeks, Side App every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
