# Radius Connect vs Radius on Map

The clearest difference is rating: Radius Connect at 4.5 against Radius on Map's 3.1. Radius Connect also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 17). Radius on Map's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Radius Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Radius Connect has 1.2K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Radius Connect's written reviews are positive against 59% of Radius on Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Radius Connect ships an update every 3 weeks, Radius on Map every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
