# Link vs Link On Demand

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Link at 100% against Link On Demand's 33%. Link also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Link On Demand's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (592 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Link On Demand holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Link On Demand has 592 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Link's written reviews are positive against 33% of Link On Demand's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Link ships an update every 2 months, Link On Demand every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
