# Exify vs Exif Metadata

The clearest difference is price: Exif Metadata at Free against Exify's $1.99. Exif Metadata also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). Exify's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Exif Metadata is free to download; Exify costs $1.99 up front. Exif Metadata sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Exify asks for nothing beyond the download.

Exif Metadata holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exif Metadata has 6.1K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Exify's written reviews are positive against 42% of Exif Metadata's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Exify ships an update every 5 months, Exif Metadata fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
