# KlowdTV vs u

The clearest difference is rating: KlowdTV at 3.1 against u's 1.0. KlowdTV also leads on ratings volume (235 vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). u's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KlowdTV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. u asks for nothing beyond the download.

KlowdTV holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KlowdTV has 235 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of KlowdTV's written reviews are positive against 50% of u's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KlowdTV ships an update every 5 weeks, u every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
