# Double Exposure vs Deux

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Deux at none against Double Exposure's 3. Deux also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months). Double Exposure's advantage is ratings volume (29 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Double Exposure sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Deux asks for nothing beyond the download.

Deux holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Double Exposure has 29 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Double Exposure ships an update every 3 months, Deux every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
