# Focus vs Moosti

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Moosti at 100% against Focus's 57%. Moosti also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and monetization model (freemium vs subscription). Focus's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Moosti sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Moosti holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus has 1.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Focus's written reviews are positive against 100% of Moosti's.

Focus ships an update every 10 days, Moosti weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
