# Focus vs ToDo Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Focus at 4.4 against ToDo Timer's 1.0. Focus also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 1). ToDo Timer's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and ToDo Timer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Focus ships an update every 10 days, ToDo Timer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
