# Focus vs Tomo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tomo at 100% against Focus's 57%. Tomo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 9). Focus's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 5) and device support (4 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Tomo asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tomo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus has 1.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Focus's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tomo's.

Focus ships an update every 10 days, Tomo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
