# Focus vs TimeLog

The clearest difference is monetization model: TimeLog at free with in-app purchases against Focus's subscription. TimeLog also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 57%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). Focus's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and TimeLog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus ships an update every 10 days, TimeLog every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
