# Focus vs Focus Quest

The clearest difference is monetization model: Focus Quest at freemium against Focus's subscription. Focus Quest also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Focus's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 5) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Focus Quest sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus has 1.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
