# Paranormal EMF Recorder and Scanner vs EMF Detector

Paranormal EMF Recorder and Scanner and EMF Detector both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 68% of Paranormal EMF Recorder and Scanner's written reviews are positive against 25% of EMF Detector's. Paranormal EMF Recorder and Scanner also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). EMF Detector's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months). Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Paranormal EMF Recorder and Scanner's written reviews are positive against 25% of EMF Detector's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
