# Magicdemy vs TalkAI

The clearest difference is rating: TalkAI at 4.8 against Magicdemy's 1.0. TalkAI also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (2.4K vs 1). Magicdemy's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magicdemy sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and TalkAI sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TalkAI holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TalkAI has 2.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Magicdemy ships an update every 2 months, TalkAI every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
