# AllModern vs TAOR

The clearest difference is monetization model: TAOR at free against AllModern's free with in-app purchases. TAOR also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). AllModern's advantage is ratings volume (30K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for AllModern against 5.0 for TAOR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AllModern has 30K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AllModern ships an update weekly, TAOR monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
