# AllModern vs Magellan Rewards

The clearest difference is rating: AllModern at 4.9 against Magellan Rewards's 4.5. AllModern also leads on ratings volume (30K vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Magellan Rewards's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AllModern holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AllModern has 30K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AllModern ships an update weekly, Magellan Rewards monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
