# AllModern vs Homary

AllModern and Homary both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Homary's written reviews are positive against 43% of AllModern's. Homary also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). AllModern's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (30K vs 971). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for AllModern against 4.8 for Homary. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AllModern has 30K ratings behind it against 971, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of AllModern's written reviews are positive against 86% of Homary's.

AllModern ships an update weekly, Homary monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
