# Happy Kitten vs Rumble Beavers

The clearest difference is rating: Rumble Beavers at 4.8 against Happy Kitten's 4.0. Happy Kitten's advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Happy Kitten sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Rumble Beavers sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rumble Beavers holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 58 and 133 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Happy Kitten's written reviews are positive against 47% of Rumble Beavers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Happy Kitten ships an update monthly, Rumble Beavers every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
