# Rigibi vs Chromatic

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chromatic at every 5 months against Rigibi's every 32 months. Chromatic also leads on ratings volume (4.7K vs 4). Rigibi's advantage is iOS requirement (9.3 vs 17.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rigibi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Chromatic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Rigibi against 4.9 for Chromatic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chromatic has 4.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Rigibi's written reviews are positive against 95% of Chromatic's.

Rigibi ships an update every 32 months, Chromatic every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
