# Solventum Mobile Microphone vs PowerMic Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: PowerMic Mobile at 2.6 against Solventum Mobile Microphone's 1.4. PowerMic Mobile also leads on ratings volume (181 vs 9) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 3 months). Solventum Mobile Microphone's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PowerMic Mobile holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PowerMic Mobile has 181 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Solventum Mobile Microphone's written reviews are positive against 19% of PowerMic Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Solventum Mobile Microphone ships an update every 3 months, PowerMic Mobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
