# Magic MixUp vs Cake Crack

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Magic MixUp at 94% against Cake Crack's 50%. Magic MixUp also leads on ratings volume (31 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). Cake Crack's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic MixUp sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Cake Crack sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cake Crack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic MixUp has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Magic MixUp's written reviews are positive against 50% of Cake Crack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic MixUp ships an update monthly, Cake Crack weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
