# SherpaShare vs Mileage Logbook

The clearest difference is monetization model: SherpaShare at free with in-app purchases against Mileage Logbook's subscription. SherpaShare also leads on rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 38). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SherpaShare sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Mileage Logbook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SherpaShare holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SherpaShare has 1.9K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of SherpaShare's written reviews are positive against 52% of Mileage Logbook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SherpaShare ships an update weekly, Mileage Logbook every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
