# U9 App vs evotags

The clearest difference is rating: evotags at 4.4 against U9 App's 3.6. U9 App's advantage is ratings volume (2.7K vs 7) and review sentiment (13% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

evotags holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: U9 App has 2.7K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of U9 App's written reviews are positive against 0% of evotags's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

U9 App ships an update every 3 months, evotags every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and June 11, 2026 respectively.
