# PlaySight vs DUPR

The clearest difference is rating: DUPR at 4.1 against PlaySight's 2.9. DUPR also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 134) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). PlaySight's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 19) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DUPR sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. PlaySight asks for nothing beyond the download.

DUPR holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DUPR has 3.9K ratings behind it against 134, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of PlaySight's written reviews are positive against 9% of DUPR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PlaySight ships an update every 2 weeks, DUPR every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
