# PlaySight vs Play The Fort

The clearest difference is rating: Play The Fort at 5.0 against PlaySight's 2.9. Play The Fort also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). PlaySight's advantage is ratings volume (140 vs 8) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Play The Fort holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlaySight has 140 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PlaySight ships an update every 2 weeks, Play The Fort every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
