# WeightGlance vs Scale Down

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scale Down at every 2 weeks against WeightGlance's every 10 months. Scale Down also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeightGlance sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Scale Down sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WeightGlance ships an update every 10 months, Scale Down every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
