# Brivo Access vs ABLEGRID Smart

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ABLEGRID Smart at 100% against Brivo Access's 14%. ABLEGRID Smart also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.6). Brivo Access's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.5). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Brivo Access holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Brivo Access's written reviews are positive against 100% of ABLEGRID Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brivo Access ships an update every 6 weeks, ABLEGRID Smart every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
