# Brivo Access vs Configure

The clearest difference is rating: Configure at 4.6 against Brivo Access's 3.0. Configure also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription) and ratings volume (14 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Configure holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Configure has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Brivo Access ships an update every 6 weeks, Configure every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
