# TOEFL Prep & Practice vs PermitGo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PermitGo at 100% against TOEFL Prep & Practice's 55%. PermitGo also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). TOEFL Prep & Practice's advantage is ratings volume (3.2K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TOEFL Prep & Practice sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and PermitGo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PermitGo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TOEFL Prep & Practice has 3.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of TOEFL Prep & Practice's written reviews are positive against 100% of PermitGo's.
