# Technogym vs The Forge App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: The Forge App at none against Technogym's 3. The Forge App also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Technogym's advantage is review sentiment (31% vs 0%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Technogym sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. The Forge App asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Forge App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Technogym has 4.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Technogym's written reviews are positive against 0% of The Forge App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Technogym ships an update fortnightly, The Forge App every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
