# Palm Reading+ vs PalmHD

The clearest difference is rating: PalmHD at 4.0 against Palm Reading+'s 3.2. PalmHD also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 34). Palm Reading+'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PalmHD sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Palm Reading+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

PalmHD holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PalmHD has 1.9K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Palm Reading+'s written reviews are positive against 28% of PalmHD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Palm Reading+ ships an update every 13 months, PalmHD monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
