# Circuits! vs Topics

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Topics at 5.3K against Circuits!'s 11. Circuits!'s advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 36%) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Circuits! sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Topics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Circuits! against 4.7 for Topics. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Topics has 5.3K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Circuits!'s written reviews are positive against 36% of Topics's.

Circuits! ships an update every 10 days, Topics every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
