# Infinity Loop vs Writer's Deadline

The clearest difference is update cadence: Infinity Loop at every 2 months against Writer's Deadline's every 5 months. Infinity Loop also leads on iOS requirement (12 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Infinity Loop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Writer's Deadline sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Infinity Loop ships an update every 2 months, Writer's Deadline every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
