# Picture Cross vs PrismaPix Gold

The clearest difference is ads: PrismaPix Gold at none against Picture Cross's shown. PrismaPix Gold also leads on review sentiment (57% vs 45%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Picture Cross's advantage is ratings volume (75K vs 7) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Picture Cross sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and PrismaPix Gold sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Picture Cross against 4.7 for PrismaPix Gold. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Picture Cross has 75K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.
