# itison vs thortful

The clearest difference is ads: itison at none against thortful's shown. itison also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 76%). thortful's advantage is ratings volume (257 vs 9) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

thortful holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: thortful has 257 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of itison's written reviews are positive against 76% of thortful's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

itison ships an update fortnightly, thortful every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
