# GymNext Flex Timer vs diversiFIT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: diversiFIT at none against GymNext Flex Timer's 2. diversiFIT also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 72%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). GymNext Flex Timer's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 9). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GymNext Flex Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. diversiFIT asks for nothing beyond the download.

GymNext Flex Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GymNext Flex Timer has 2.1K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of GymNext Flex Timer's written reviews are positive against 100% of diversiFIT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GymNext Flex Timer ships an update every 3 weeks, diversiFIT every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
