# GymNext Flex Timer vs BoxClock

The clearest difference is rating: GymNext Flex Timer at 4.8 against BoxClock's 4.0. GymNext Flex Timer also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GymNext Flex Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and BoxClock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
