# RoofSnoop vs Plannit

The clearest difference is rating: RoofSnoop at 4.3 against Plannit's 3.0. RoofSnoop also leads on ratings volume (91 vs 4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Plannit's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (60% vs 40%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RoofSnoop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. Plannit asks for nothing beyond the download.

RoofSnoop holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoofSnoop has 91 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of RoofSnoop's written reviews are positive against 60% of Plannit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RoofSnoop ships an update monthly, Plannit every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
