# Nixplay vs MP Art

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nixplay at 47% against MP Art's 0%. Nixplay also leads on ratings volume (5.1K vs 4) and chart position (#87 vs unranked). MP Art's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nixplay sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and MP Art sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MP Art holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nixplay has 5.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Nixplay's written reviews are positive against 0% of MP Art's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nixplay ships an update every 3 weeks, MP Art every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
