# Plus40 vs Catchy‎ ‎

The clearest difference is update cadence: Catchy‎ ‎ at every 9 days against Plus40's every 3 months. Catchy‎ ‎ also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Plus40's advantage is ratings volume (918 vs 16). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Catchy‎ ‎ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plus40 has 918 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 80% and 80% positive.

Plus40 ships an update every 3 months, Catchy‎ ‎ every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
