# Text 2 Watch vs SpeedOwl

The clearest difference is update cadence: SpeedOwl at monthly against Text 2 Watch's every 5 months. Text 2 Watch's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text 2 Watch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SpeedOwl sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
