# ti vs Canvas Run

The clearest difference is rating: Canvas Run at 4.5 against ti's 2.2. Canvas Run also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (33K vs 43). ti's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ti sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Canvas Run sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Canvas Run holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canvas Run has 33K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 29% and 29% positive.

ti ships an update every 4 months, Canvas Run fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
