# ti vs bits

The clearest difference is review sentiment: bits at 78% against ti's 29%. bits also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). ti's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ti sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and bits sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

bits holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: bits has 587 ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 29% of ti's written reviews are positive against 78% of bits's.

ti ships an update every 4 months, bits fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
