# phpMyFAQ vs Any Secret

The clearest difference is update cadence: phpMyFAQ at every 2 months against Any Secret's every 19 months. phpMyFAQ also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. phpMyFAQ sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Any Secret sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

phpMyFAQ ships an update every 2 months, Any Secret every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
