# DayGram vs JournalNow

The clearest difference is rating: JournalNow at 5.0 against DayGram's 4.5. JournalNow also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). DayGram's advantage is ratings volume (253 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DayGram sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and JournalNow sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JournalNow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DayGram has 253 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DayGram ships an update every 3 days, JournalNow every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
