# QuickNote Calendar vs May Calendar

The clearest difference is rating: May Calendar at 4.3 against QuickNote Calendar's 3.6. QuickNote Calendar's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 57%). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuickNote Calendar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and May Calendar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

May Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 40 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of QuickNote Calendar's written reviews are positive against 57% of May Calendar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
