# Video Record Pro vs InviCam

The clearest difference is rating: InviCam at 4.5 against Video Record Pro's 3.9. InviCam also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 32 months). Video Record Pro's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 12%) and iOS requirement (10.3 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Record Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and InviCam sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InviCam holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InviCam has 269 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Video Record Pro's written reviews are positive against 12% of InviCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Video Record Pro ships an update every 32 months, InviCam every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
