# Acronis Mobile vs Splashtop for RMM

The clearest difference is rating: Acronis Mobile at 4.2 against Splashtop for RMM's 3.1. Acronis Mobile also leads on ratings volume (837 vs 15) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Acronis Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Acronis Mobile has 837 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Acronis Mobile's written reviews are positive against 40% of Splashtop for RMM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Acronis Mobile ships an update every 2 months, Splashtop for RMM every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
